New Samsung delivers on web

A new handset from Samsung may be short in some areas, but delivers a "fantastic" web experience, one expert has advised.
Ricky Cadden noted in a piece for Mobile Burn this week that the South Korean manufacturer has equipped its budget touchscreen SGH-A887 model - which is also known as the Solstice - with some impressive internet facilities.
He said the photographic and multimedia options of the handset were something of a let down, but added the compact and stylish package came with a web browser that is "one of the best we've seen on a non-smartphone ever".
Mr Cadden's words were, however, contradicted in an article posted on the Cnet website earlier this year, which advised consumers that the camera featured on the SGH-A887 was, in fact, "quite good".
In addition, PC Mag recommended the model last month as a gadget that would appeal to those in the market for a touchscreen device that were on a tight budget.
Would this budget device interest you?
