Windows Live Messenger added to Nokia E72

One of the latest handsets to be launched on the Vodafone network could be ideal for those who like to chat, if its creator's recent comments are anything to go by.

Nokia said this week that the E72 is now ready to communicate straight out of the box with full access to Windows Live Messenger.

As one of the most popular services of its type in the world, the Finnish company explained that it had linked the product to its own Messaging Chat application.

The Nokia Press Bulletin Board said the new software means "people worldwide can have multiple conversations simultaneously, change their status and personal messages".

It added that the service would also be available on devices like the E63, E71 and E75, but this would require the downloading of additional software.

The Nokia E72 also boasts a full-sized qwerty keyboard to make SMS, email and instant messaging easier, it is available free on selected Vodafone contracts, some of which include up to 1,200 free minutes and unlimited texts.

Is this a worthwhile feature?
