Vodafone announces new sim-only plans
Posted: 6 November 2009
Those looking to purchase a new handset without a contract may want to take advantage of a new announcement from Vodafone.
It was revealed this week that the operator would boost its range of sim-only offerings, which could also be good news for those who find it difficult giving up a trusty handset.
Vodafone said the packages would be available to consumers in the UK under a 30-day and 12-month basis and offer a selection of extras that may appeal to people looking to upgrade their contract only.
Among these are free anytime call minutes, unlimited access to the mobile internet and infinite text messages, with tariffs priced at £20 and £25.
"For customers that are happy with their phone and want to keep their number, Vodafone's sim-only deals are packed with value and now with the choice of unlimited data they offer great flexibility for all lifestyles," the firm added.
Vodafone boosted its pay-as-you-go packages in time for Christmas this week with a selection of touchscreen models like the Samsung Genio.
What handset do you like to keep hold of?
