Samsung Jet "a very desirable phone"

The new Samsung Jet is the latest flagship feature phone from the Korean manufacturer.

Also known as the S8000, it has been deemed "smarter than a smart phone", which reviewers at MobileBurn.com supported after testing the device.

Featuring a Webkit-based web browser and a 800 MHz processor, the Jet is an "attractive device", utilising 3.1-inch WVGA resolution AMOLED touchscreen display.

In addition, the phone has a five-megapixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe and SRS sound effect technologies. It also supports DivX and XviD video for downloading and viewing.

According to the website, the display works well in sunlight and works well when pressure is applied during use of the screen, allowing for greater accuracy.

The curved shape of the phone, coupled with its use of "comfortable" plastic, makes for an attractive appearance, while its camera features a censor that automatically adjusts screen brightness.
