Young people are now so familiar with products such as mobile phones and mobile broadband that it is changing the way we do business, it has been suggested.
According to a spokesman for the 3 network, the younger generation has adapted to modern technology more quickly than older people and are bringing this onto the workplace.
Renato Bottini, head of business at 3 UK, agreed that mobile phones and mobile broadband were among the new things that were being integrated into business and that such things were "of great benefit to small businesses".

A number of high profile celebrities have bee spotted clutching their trusty BlackBerry mobile phones.
In the hectic world that accompanies fame and fortune, it can no doubt be useful to have a mobile phone handy - and Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings has posted the latest batch of photos capturing the stars and their handsets.

Mobile phones and their related technologies are getting better and cheaper to run for a wide selection of users, one expert has advised.
A spokesman for 3 said this week that the cost of calls and other mobile telecommunications services was falling rapidly - and that a number of different sectors were taking full advantage of this.

A new handset from Sony Ericsson (SE) is clearly one for those who like gaming on their mobile phones, according to a new review.
Pocket Gamer this week put the new SE W580 to the test and concluded that the manufacturer is clearly targeting a market that wants high performance games in a stylish and compact package.
It states that the W580 is a slider model that is one of the company's Walkman-branded devices and is equipped with two-megapixel camera, two-inch screen and an integrated speaker system "bizarrely located underneath the D-pad".

New screenshots have emerged of a new fighting game which could soon be high-kicking its way on to mobile phones.
According to Pocket Gamer, martial arts master and action movie legend Chuck Norris is to be given his own game for mobile phones and the initial outlook for the title is promising.
It is noted that Gameloft will be the publisher behind Chuck Norris: Bring On The Pain and adds that the game involves "dispensing denim-clad justice in an old-skool beat-'em-up."

Sony Ericsson has launched a new handset that is clearly the jewel in the company's crown of Walkman mobile phones, it has been suggested.
Trusted Reviews reports the Sony Ericsson W890i is undoubtedly the "current flagship Walkman handset" and adds that this is clear from the inclusion of an 8GB internal memory.
It states that the phone is "designed to meet the needs of the mobile music fan who doesn't want to carry a separate player but who does want plenty of music at their disposal".

Samsung thinks pink for charity

Samsung has launched a new version of its U800 model in pink, according to reports.
It has emerged that the manufacturer's compact mobile phone, which is in the Samsung Ultra Series of handsets and acts as a sister model to the U900 Soul, will now be made available to those with a charitable conscience.
The new Samsung U800 Pink has been given the makeover as part of a deal that sees £10 from each one purchased donated to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity.
Samsung's U800 is a candybar-style handset that comes equipped with HSDPA, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, as well as microSD support and a three-megapixel camera.

Better products and lower prices mean it has never been a better time for business users of mobile phones, one expert has advised.
A spokesman for the 3 network, a telecommunications company which offers a range of services including mobile broadband, said handsets were becoming increasingly sophisticated and cheaper to use.

With an increasing number of people discovering the benefits of mobile broadband services, a new survey has looked at internet access in the UK.
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), consumers in the south east were more likely to have access to the web - either via mobile broadband or a landline connection - with 74 per cent of that region now online.
The least connected region was the North East, which was revealed as having 54 per cent of its population hooked up to the web. Overall, it was revealed that almost two thirds of UK households (16.5 million) had an internet connection.
